One afternoon, I stood in a shoe aisle for twenty minutes holding two pairs. One was good for my daughter's feet. The other was the one she'd actually be excited to wear. I put them both back.
One side of the aisle had science, cold, clinical, correct. The other had imagination, beautiful, playful, built without a thought for the foot inside.
So I built the brand that didn't exist.
